The Swifts: A Dictionary of Scoundrels by Beth Lincoln

From the moment they enter this world, the Swift children are greeted with a unique tradition—the sacred Family Dictionary. There, they receive their name and a corresponding definition, a destiny they're expected to fulfill as they grow up.

Enter Shenanigan Swift: the mischievous little sister, a daredevil at heart. As the Swift Family Reunion approaches, Shenanigan's mind is abuzz with an audacious plan—to embark on a thrilling hunt for Grand-Uncle Vile's elusive treasure. Anticipation builds as her relatives arrive,

but the joyous occasion turns dark when someone sends Arch-Aunt Schadenfreude hurtling down a treacherous flight of stairs.

Who cares if everyone assumes she's bound to be a troublemaker just because of her name? Shenanigan firmly believes she can be anything she sets her mind to, even a skilled detective. Determined to crack the twisted clues and apprehend the culprit, she dives headfirst into a suspenseful journey brimming with cleverness and surprises.

This book was a fun read. I would recommend this to young readers who have difficulty focusing on stories. It's fast-moving and easy to follow.
